With sixth grade college students we labored on the theme of achromatic colours and tonal gradations, and we created these work with tempera paint to observe on grey scales and shade tones.

First we traced a picture with a stylized animal utilizing carbon paper, then we painted the animal with achromatic colors, white, black and scale of greys.

After that twe divided the background into areas, tracing a sequence of strains with a pencil.
