Congratulations to Giacomo Acciarini for passing his PhD affirmation examination! It was held on Monday seventh August, and the examiners have been Andrea Lucca Fabris (Surrey Area Centre) and Tom Bridges. The title of his venture is “Stochastic continuation for area trajectory design in unsure environments”. Giacomo is a joint PhD scholar between Arithmetic (with supervisor David Lloyd), the Surrey Area Centre (with supervisor Nicola Baresi), and the European Area Centre (with supervisor Dario Izzo).
