The final spring with the eighth grade college students we determined to take part within the MAIL ART PROJECT, conceived and promoted by the artwork instructor Federica Ciribì, curator of the positioning and of the VISUAL DIARY methodology. This mission requires college students from throughout Italy to provide creative postcards (dimension 12x15cm) and alternate them with different italian college students.

124 lessons, for a complete of two,728 girls and boys, took half on this “Mail Artwork” mission. The postcards had been exchanged between 47 Italian colleges and as many artwork lecturers. This 12 months the reference artist was Paul Klee, and particularly six works had been chosen to repeat, interpret and revisit at will.

Our accomplice faculty, with whom we exchanged the postcards, is the “Rita Levi Montalcini Faculty” in Savona, and the artwork instructor is Francesca Fatucci.

To begin with we analyzed the six proposed works: they’re very totally different from one another by way of topics and methods. After that every pupil selected a piece to interpret and selected probably the most appropriate methods. Within the picture under we see the six works by Paul Klee in small format subsequent to some interpretations made with totally different methods, comparable to watercolor, oil pastels, collage, markers and combined media.

On the again of the postcards we glued the template of a postcard, then we drew the stamp and wrote the deal with, the date and a message to ship to our pals in Savona.
