4 finalists for the vice provost of libraries place will go to campus and make in-person shows in October.

The candidates’ names and utility supplies will likely be shared on the search web site 48 hours previous to their go to. Public shows will likely be held at Memorial Union from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. on the next dates:

  • Oct. 3
  • Oct. 10
  • Oct. 13

Room areas will likely be posted on the search web site and TITU nearer to the presentation dates.

UW–Madison staff might attend the talks in pay standing, with supervisor permission, if the shows fall throughout regular work hours.

Following the shows, recordings of the finalists’ formal remarks will likely be posted on the search web site linked above till Oct. 16. Suggestions on the candidates will be entered on the search web site till 5 p.m. on Oct. 16.

The search committee is being chaired by Jordan Zweck, affiliate professor of English, Faculty of Letters & Science. The agency Isaacson Miller has been aiding with the recruitment and search.

Lisa Carter introduced in January that she was leaving the position of vice provost of libraries and college librarian to grow to be Dean of Libraries and College Librarian on the College of Michigan.
