The paper “The Gaussian wave packet remodel through quadrature guidelines“, co-authored by Paul Bergold and Caroline Lasser (TU Munich), has been printed within the IMA Journal of Numerical Evaluation. Based mostly on the Fourier inversion components and a partition of unity, a brand new illustration of square-integrable capabilities is introduced. Together with a rigorous error evaluation, the variants of the wave packet remodel are then derived by a discretisation of the Fourier integral through totally different quadrature guidelines.
