With the seventh grade college students we mirrored on what makes us really feel good at college and the way we will enhance our well-being at college by making an attempt to construct conditions of respect, calm, pleasure, serenity and friendship.
Every pupil considered some key phrases about feeling good at college and wrote them on the intertwined ribbons drawn in pencil with shades to provide the phantasm of area and depth.
First we drew the ribbons, three or 4 on either side, making an attempt to respect the above/below place of every ribbon, to make the drawing extra reasonable. The shading is finished with a delicate pencil, by modulating the strain of the hand. At every crossing of ribbons the ribbon beneath is shaded to make the drawing three-dimensional.
The drawing would be the cowl of our pocket book for this faculty 12 months.
One of many ribbons is coloured and shaded, and will probably be our “conducting thread” for this faculty 12 months.
