Anne Skeldon visited the College of Oxford yesterday (Wednesday 15 November) to go to and provides a chat on the MRC Mind Dynamics Unit (hyperlink right here). Her speak title was “Mathematical modelling of human circadian rhythms and sleep: implications for intervention design” and he or she offered a few of her work over the previous decade working with the Surrey Sleep Analysis Centre (Director: Derk-Jan Dijk) and with a spread of mathematicians. The speak was a part of the method of constructing a brand new interdisciplinary collaboration funded by the NIHR via the Oxford Well being Biomedical Analysis Centre (hyperlink right here). Anne and staff will quickly be recruiting a postdoc on this mission to work on mathematical modelling. The screenshot under is from the MRC BNDU Webpage.
