Expedition information and photographer Ryan Newburn captures the ephemeral great thing about the glacial caves he explores in Iceland. These caves are in fixed flux, due to the run and soften of water. The scalloped partitions are an indication of this strategy of melting and dissolution. The icicles, too, trace at ongoing melting and refreezing.
